HISTORICAL CRAFT NIGHT
I love the bespoke dressmaking I do, but I’ve been wanting to create more opportunities for people who love history and making things to actually get together and do those things. So I’m starting a monthly Historical Craft Night! Each month we’ll get together and make something inspired by a different period in history- something that’s actually lovely or useful enough that you’ll want to keep it & continue to use it when you’re finished.
With that in mind...
Come join us for a creative soirée of old-world artistry!
Each craft night will include: a delightful assortment of hors d'oeuvres & fancies, group instruction with 1-1 attention, a beautiful hand-made item to take home with you, and an instruction packet to take home so you can make more yourself!
Come frocked and frilled or simply as you are-
no historical wardrobe or crafting experience required.
September 24:
This month, step into the atelier and create a silk folding fan inspired by the 1780s Rococo or 1810s Regency era. Choose your style, then spend the evening trimming, embellishing, and assembling a fan of your own. Come for the craft, stay for the company, and leave with a piece of history made by you.

Step into a Victorian parlor to create your own romantic cameo and stained-glass-inspired treasure. Enjoy an evening of moody beauty, old-world details, and a touch of the macabre.
November:
Try your hand at the centuries-old art of block printing as you design and print your own fichu: a beautiful, wearable piece inspired by the patterns and handiwork of the past!
December:
Cozy up for an old-fashioned holiday evening! Craft your own pair of elegant leather gloves from start to finish, along with stamped tin ornaments inspired by centuries past.
